Liturgy of the Word

This program is designed for children from five years through grade four. At the time of the Liturgy of the Word during the 10:30 A.M. Sunday Mass, the children are gathered, blessed and dismissed by the Celebrant. They are then led to the classrooms where they are taught the day’s readings at their level of comprehension.

Booklets, drawings, music and other instruction materials are used. When it is time for the Presentation of the Gifts, the children are led back to their families. Children from pre-school are encouraged to participate.
