St. Isaac Jogues Book Club
The Book Club meets on the 3rd Tuesday every other month (September, November, January, March and May) at 10:00 AM in the Religious Education Building, Classroom 6.
The Book Club aims to read a classic, a fiction, a non-fiction, and a religious-themed book each year.
The book club members take turns selecting books for the group to read and the person who recommends the book typically hosts discussion questions about the book at the meeting.

The Women by Kristin Hannah.

The Gift of Years by Joan Chittister. The world glorifies youth and degrades old age. The "Gift of Years" flies in the face of this conventional wisdom. It is a wonderful celebration of the blessings of growing older, clear-eyed and unsentimental about the reality of the aging process but showing us that our later years are a gift and not a burden.

In the Fall the book club hosts a Coffee after the 10:30 Mass on Sunday where the book club members provide a table of free books for the parishioners to take.
